Product Description
A model of a classic antique kitchen scale
Produced by the renowned Swedish company Jernbolaget Eskilstuna, this scale dates back to the first half of the 20th century.
It features the following details:
Exterior and Design
Material: The scale is made of durable cast iron in a burgundy or dark red colour.
Base: A wide, curved base ensures the scale's stability on surfaces. The cantor is decorated with raised, perforated diamond or eye-shaped patterns.
Top: An iron arm extends from the top, supporting a base for the weighing pan or tray (on which the food or other items to be measured are placed).
Measuring Panel (Enamel)
Shape and Colour: The panel is circular with an off-white background (due to age and antiquity) and is surrounded by a metal frame secured with protruding rivets.
Indicator and Grading: It features a black, pointed indicator in the centre. The scale's scale ranges from 0 to 10 kilograms, with precise internal divisions for measuring smaller weights in grams.
