A Moonlit Night

This work by artist Madawi Al-Maadeed—executed in a realistic style using mixed media dominated by paint—depicts the nature of Bedouin life and the Arab love for moonlit nights illuminating the desert. Painted with acrylics on black striped fabric—reminiscent of the traditional *beit al-sha'ar* (hair tent)—the piece features prominent metalwork reliefs illustrating the tools used for Arabic coffee and the traditions of hospitality.
